GOP Women Plan Forum with Road Superintendent Candidates

The Republican Women of Rutherford County will host a forum with the Republican candidates for Road Superintendent on February 13th at 6 p.m. at the Gondolier Restaurant, 219 N.W. Broad St., Murfreesboro. The forum is free and open to the public.
The Republican Women of Rutherford County will host a forum with the Republican candidates for Road Superintendent on February 13th at 6 p.m. at the Gondolier Restaurant, 219 N.W. Broad St., Murfreesboro. Candidates invited to participate at the event are: Robert Alsup; Greg Brooks; Buddy Gambill, Jr.; and Joe Frank Jernigan. The forum is free and open to the public.
The Road Superintendent is responsible for the day to day operation of the Highway Department which maintains over 940 miles in the current County Road Book with approximately 70 employees. The Highway Department owns and operates a rock quarry and crushing facility, has several crews that do paving, mowing, and trucking as part of road maintenance, and has a state-of-the-art shop for maintenance and repair of its equipment.
