Pay is $100
The right to vote is one of our most sacred and cherished rights as Americans. Be a part of the process by working at the polls on Election Day. Learn about the election process, all the while serving your community and fulfilling your civic duty.
Must be:
- At least 17 years old by Election Day
- Must be a resident & registered voter of Rutherford County, Tennessee
- Computer literacy is a plus
Cannot be:
- An elected official or an employee of an elected official (exception: notaries public)
- A close relative of the Administrator of Elections or any member of the County Election Commission
- A government or government agency employee except:
- Employees/faculty/instructors at higher education institutions
- School teachers
- Part-time members of the armed forces or reserves; cannot be on active duty
- Employees of city/county schools who do not work directly under the supervision of an elected official
