Planning Commission’s Zoning Resolution

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of County I would like to thank the numerous citizens, voters and other concerned parties that have expressed their concerns and disappointment with the current proposed comprehensive plan, zoning proposals and zoning map.  The Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Rutherford County shares your concerns and is calling upon all members of the County Commission and Planning Commission to simply vote not to adopt the plan as it is an assault on the basic rights of our citizens and property owners.  Any member of the County Commission who seeks to support this plan will in essence be stating that they are against the rights of property owners and future generations of property owners in this county.  A vote for this plan is in essence a vote for the liberals and Democrats who back Agenda 21 and your vote will be noted and remembered by the thousands of property owners and concerned citizens of Rutherford County when time for re-appointment or re-election.—- Austin Maxwell, Chairman, Rutherford County Republican Party
