Mike Sparks, Republican candidate for State House, 49th District, will kick off his campaign next Tuesday night with an event at Cedar Crest Golf Course, Murfreesboro. Mike’s special guest will be radio personality Steve Gill.
Mike Sparks, Republican candidate for State House, 49th District, will kick off his campaign next Tuesday night with an event at Cedar Crest Golf Course, Murfreesboro. Mike’s special guest will be radio personality Steve Gill.
Over the past ten years, Mr. Gill has dominated Nashville talk radio on WLAC (AM 1510) and WWTN (FM 99.7). In 2001, he staged his own “Boston Tea Party” with over 5000 listeners/protesters, an effort that lead to the successful defeat of a proposed state income tax for Tennessee. Mr. Gill has been the chief political analyst for WKRN News 2 (ABC) in Nashville and is a frequent commentator on FOX News, MSNBC and CNN. For the past several years, Business Tennessee has named Gill among the 100 Most Powerful People in Tennessee.
