Planning Commission’s Zoning Resolution
On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of County I would like to thank the numerous citizens, voters and other concerned parties that have expressed their concerns and disappointment with the current proposed comprehensive plan, zoning proposals and zoning map. The Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Rutherford County shares your concerns and is calling upon all members of the County Commission and Planning Commission to simply vote not to adopt the plan as it is an assault on the basic rights of our citizens and property owners. Any member of the County Commission who seeks to support this plan will in essence be stating that they are against the rights of property owners and future generations of property owners in this county. - Town Hall Meeting with Information on the New TN Voter ID Law
The Rutherford County Election Commission will hold a town hall meeting on November 1st at 5:30 p.m. at the Rutherford County Courthouse to inform the public on requirements for voters to have a picture ID to vote in elections beginning in 2012.
